Insulated Clothing

What better way to keep warm on the colder days than an insulated Jacket or Vest. Insulated clothing is made to keep your warm no matter what the weather throws at you. Down insulation is made from fine feathers taken from animals like ducks and geese. Down is known for its natural ability to trap air and keep warmth, and also its ability to compress again and again whilst keeping its original loft. Mountain Equipment are known around the world for their work in ethically sourcing down and their creation of the DOWN CODEX, a way to trace where the down in your clothing has come from.

Synthetic insulation is used in a wide variety of outdoor clothing because of its ability to still trap warm air whilst damp or wet. There are many producers of synthetic insulation, and one of the big names is Primaloft. They have proven themselves time and time again that they produce one of the best on the market.
