Warm, breathable protection for winter mountains

Built for mountaineers, trekkers and winter hill walkers, the Mountain Equipment Andola Jacket combines a lightweight 20D RS Nylon outer with HD® Wool insulation (100g m⁻² throughout) sourced from a Yorkshire woollen mill. Designed to perform as either an outer layer in stable conditions or a warm mid-layer beneath a shell, it balances insulation, breathability and mobility for cold-weather mountain use. No verified temperature rating or weather threshold has been supplied, but the jacket is specifically intended for freezing hill days, ski touring, mountaineering and winter walking.

Care & Longevity

Machine wash at 30°C using a specialist wool detergent where available, or a liquid detergent, and select a wool, gentle or delicate cycle. Dry flat after washing and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry. Keeping the garment clean and correctly stored will help preserve the performance of the wool insulation and DWR-treated outer fabric.
