The Mountain Equipment Classic Eco 300 Sleeping Bag combines 100% recycled Earthrise shell and lining fabrics with 253g of recycled 700 fill power down to deliver dependable warmth with a reduced environmental impact. Built for backpackers, trekkers, mountaineers and alpine travellers, it offers a verified Good Night's Sleep Temperature of 0°C (32°F), making it well suited to spring and summer mountain use, multi-day trekking and lightweight backpacking adventures.

Performance & Engineering

• Recycled 700 Fill Power Down Insulation: Engineered with 253g of recycled down with a minimum 700 fill power to provide an efficient warmth-to-weight ratio for mountain trekking, backpacking and lightweight alpine travel.

• Slanted Box-Wall Baffle Construction: Built with slanted box-wall baffles to maximise down loft and maintain even insulation distribution, helping to reduce cold spots during cooler overnight conditions.

• Mountain Fit with EXL® System: Designed with a spacious Mountain Fit and zoned EXL® elasticated stitching system to minimise dead air space, reduce draughts and improve thermal efficiency without compromising comfort.

• Anatomically Shaped Hood and Foot Box: Engineered with a 5-baffle anatomically shaped hood and 2-baffle anatomically shaped offset foot box to improve heat retention around the head and feet during colder nights in the hills.

• Gemini™ Zip Baffle and Lode Lock™ Closure: Built with a full-length Gemini™ zip baffle, 165cm zip and integrated collar featuring a Lode Lock™ closure to reduce heat loss while remaining easy to operate in darkness.
