The Mountain Equipment Oreus Vest combines PLASMA 10D outer fabric with ground-breaking Aetherm™ Precision Insulation to deliver exceptional warmth, breathability and packability at a remarkably low weight. Performance & Engineering

• Aetherm™ Precision Insulation. Developed through a 5-year research project, this patent-pending synthetic insulation delivers an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio, excellent loft and impressive packability for fast-moving mountain users.

• PLASMA 10D outer fabric. Engineered with an ultra-lightweight and highly breathable fabric to help regulate comfort during strenuous ascents, long approaches and technical climbing days.

• Versatile layering design. Built to function as an outer layer, insulating mid-layer or emergency over-layer, providing flexibility for changing mountain conditions and varied activity levels.

• Packable alpine functionality. Packs into its internal pocket with twin carabiner carry loops, making it easy to stow in a rucksack or attach directly to a harness when space is limited.

• Mountain-ready storage. Combines 2 zipped hand warmer pockets, 1 chest pocket and a pleated internal drop pocket to keep essentials accessible and protect items such as gloves from the cold.

Care & Longevity

Machine wash at 30°C using liquid detergent or a specialist cleaner and tumble dry on a cool setting. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid high heat and always follow the manufacturer’s care guidance to maintain insulation performance and the effectiveness of the DWR treatment.
