Every year, millions of tonnes of textiles are wasted before they have even been used to manufacture a product. This includes everything from the left-over fabric from offcuts on the cutting room floor to unused overstocks as well as any fabric deemed defective due to dyeing or finishing issues.

Mountain Equipment’s goal is to lessen their impact and design out waste from their operations, so they are now working more closely than ever with their factories and fabric suppliers to upcycle left-over fabrics and re-purpose them into new, unique or limited-edition pieces of Mountain Equipment clothing and Equipment.
