Proven warmth for harsh mountain conditions

The Mountain Equipment Lightline Women's Down Jacket is a technical insulated duvet built with DRILITE® LOFT 40D fabric and 245g of 90/10 700 fill power duck down for dependable cold-weather protection. Designed for mountaineers and everyday users alike, it combines weather resistance, windproof performance and low-bulk warmth for mountain routes, winter travel and daily use in challenging conditions.

Performance & Engineering

• High-Loft Down Insulation: Engineered with 245g of 90/10 700 fill power duck down to provide substantial warmth while maintaining a relatively low packed size for travel, climbing and cold-weather layering.

• DRILITE® LOFT Weather Protection: Built with DRILITE® LOFT 40D outer fabric and a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish, helping protect insulation performance during snowfall, spindrift and damp conditions.

• Stitched-Through Baffle Construction: Designed to hold down securely in place and minimise migration, reducing the risk of cold spots across key areas including the chest, shoulders and hood.

• Protective Mountain Hood: Incorporates a zip-off insulated Mountain Hood and insulated baffle behind the front zip, delivering additional protection and heat retention during exposed mountain travel.

• Layering-Friendly Mountain Fit: Designed for efficient layering without excessive bulk, with adjustable cuffs and dual-tether hem drawcords helping seal out wind while maintaining freedom of movement when carrying packs or moving over technical terrain.

Care & Longevity

Hand wash or machine wash at 30°C using liquid detergent or a specialist down cleaner. Tumble dry on a low heat with a slow spin speed and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid high-temperature washing or drying and always follow the manufacturer's care guidance to maintain loft, insulation performance and the DWR treatment.
