All Men's Jackets

A jacket is an outer layer designed to protect you from cold, wind or rain. The right choice depends on the weather and what you'll be doing: waterproof jackets for rain, insulated jackets for cold, and lightweight jackets for mild days and layering.

Our collection covers waterproof shells, down and synthetic insulated jackets, fleece jackets, softshells and everyday casual styles, in men's and women's fits.

What type of jacket do I need?
For rain, choose a waterproof shell with taped seams. For cold, dry weather, choose a down jacket. For changeable conditions, wear a fleece or lightweight insulated layer under a waterproof shell.

What is the difference between waterproof and water-resistant?
Waterproof jackets use a membrane and sealed seams to keep out sustained rain. Water-resistant jackets have a coating that sheds light drizzle but will soak through in heavy rain.

Down or synthetic insulation: which is better?
Down is warmer, lighter and packs smaller, so it suits cold, dry conditions. Synthetic insulation keeps warming when damp and costs less, so it suits wet weather.

What is a softshell jacket?
A softshell is a stretchy, breathable jacket that resists wind and light rain. It suits active use like hiking and running better than a fully waterproof shell.

How should a jacket fit?
It should allow room for a mid-layer underneath without restricting your arm movement. The sleeves should cover your wrists when you reach forward.

How do I look after my jacket?
Wash it at a low temperature with a technical-fabric detergent, avoid fabric softener, and reproof waterproof jackets when water stops beading on the surface.
